This wiki contains information on Australian policy issues. It is part of The National Forum [1]and is designed for use by students and researchers. We also use the wiki to plan features for On Line Opinion [2].

Access to the editing features of the wiki is restricted. We want to be able to deal with contentious issues with authority, and without worrying about tampering from people who want to promulgate only one side of a story. That doesn't mean that we are after contributors who are neutral, but contributors who while having a point of view are prepared to let others have a different point of view. The world is now consuming more food than it produces. Is this irreversible or can man's ingenuity continue to feed us all? This feature will take stock of the current situation and look at the future taking account of the way that food, energy, science, geopolitical security, resources, environment and population growth are all interrelated.
